For many of us, starting the day with a hot cup of tea has become a habit we can’t imagine living without. It feels comforting, energizing, and part of our daily routine. But have you ever wondered if this habit is truly benefiting your health? While tea may offer temporary stimulation, overconsumption often leads to side effects like acidity, bloating, restlessness, and even dependency on caffeine. Ayurveda describes such habits as disturbances to our natural balance, slowly weakening digestion and overall vitality.
This is where herbal teas step in as a healthier and more nourishing alternative. Unlike regular tea, herbal teas are naturally caffeine-free and packed with medicinal properties. A cup of tulsi tea, for example, strengthens immunity and calms the nerves. Chamomile tea soothes the mind and promotes sound sleep.
